Sourcing and milling local flours and grains, how to maximize tiny spaces, streamlining the timing of mixing and how to do it all while juggling home life. Laila will also go into her favorite equipment, packaging and how to get started with your local laws and regulations.

Laila is a mother of three running her microbakery in a sleepy ocean side neighborhood of San Francisco. She spends the rest of her work life educating fellow sourdough enthusiasts online, providing informational videos and offering consults via zoom. She’s been an ambassador for Simply Bread Co since 2024 and has been baking with the oven since 2023. She’s excited to be a part of Asheville Bread Festival!
